                                      Set Recipe - Orange Madeira Cake
                                       4oz (110g) SR Flour                   3 Beaten Eggs
                                       4oz (110g) Plain Flour               Grated Rind of 2 Oranges
                                       6oz (175g) Butter                       6oz (175g) Caster Sugar
                                       1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
                                                                                Method
Grease and line a 18cm (7") cake tin. Sift flour, cream the sugar, grated rind and vanilla essence until pale & fluffy. Beat in the eggs a little at a time. Fold in the re-sifted flour, adding a little milk if necessary to give a dropping consistency. Bake in the oven at 180 C 350 F Gas mark 4. Bake for 1 hour.
